Charlie sennott spoke about Biden’s decision to officially recognize the massacre of Armenians in World War I as genocide and the Biden administration’s Climate Summit. He also discussed the Groundtruth project Podcast on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the Pentagon Papers and its upcoming conference on the legacy of Daniel Ellsberg in partnership with UMass Amherst. Sennott is a GBH News analyst and the founder and CEO of The GroundTruth Project.
Jenifer McKim discussed “Unseen,” a GBH News Center for Investigative Reporting series that examines boys and young men drawn into the sex trade. McKim is an investigative reporter for GBH News.
The Revs. Irene Monroe and Emmett G. Price III shared their thoughts on religious leaders’ responses to the verdict in the Derek Chauvin trial. They also spoke about the reluctance to vaccinate among evangelical Christians. Monroe is a union religious columnist, the Boston voice for the African American Heritage Trail of Detour and a Visiting Fellow in the Religion and Conflict Transformation Program at Boston University School of Theology. Price is Executive Director of the Institute for the Study of the Black Christian Experience at Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary. Together, they host GBH Everything rev’d up Podcast.
Meredith Goldstein previewed her new YA book, “Things That Grow,” and spoke about the state of romance and relationships during the pandemic. Goldstein is an advice columnist and writer for the Boston Globe. Her advice column, Love Letters, is a daily dispatcher of wisdom for lovers that has been running for over a decade. She also hosts the Love Letters podcast.
